Stockholm Environmental Law and Policy Centre was
established by the Stockholm University Rektor in December 2003. The
purpose of the Centre is to contribute to a sustainable legal
development at the national, European (EU), and international level in
order to protect human health and the environment, and to promote
sustainable development. This is to be made through research, teaching
and cooperation with other academic institutions, authorities and
organisations in Sweden and abroad.
