Credit Rating Agencies (CRAs) have during the last decades played an increasing role in international finance both in connection with rights issues and bond issues. They may have a mandate to assess the credit worthiness of a state or of a company but they may also carry out such task without a particular mandate. At this conference regulatory matters as well as liability questions related to CRA:s will be discussed.
The conference will take place between 14 and 15 June 2012 at the conference venue The Summit Conference Centre, Grev Turegatan 30.

The conference is organised by Professor Jan Kleineman and Professor Lars Gorton, both from the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law.
