The Swedish Law & Informatics Research Institute produces as well as contributes to the production of many publications. In addition to scientific dissertations, monographs and anthologies IRI has produced many textbooks for the training of students and practitioners.

Many research projects, commissions of inquiry and specially chosen undergraduate works since 1981 have been documented in The Swedish Law and Informatics Research Institute Report Series or in the series "Writings from the Swedish Law and Informatics Research Institute".

Since 1984, The Swedish Law & Informatics Research Institute has contributed to the publication of the Nordic Yearbook in Legal Informatics.
