2009-06-16 Master students 2008/2009: Please keep in mind that the fall term 2009 shall start on August 22nd. If you are not finished with your thesis before that date (which means that your grade has to be reported lastest on August 20th), you will have to pay the term fee to the Student Union for the term when you are finished with your thesis and want us to report your grade. For further information on how to pay the fee from abroad, please contact the Student Union by e-mail: kx@sus.su.se When you contact the Student Union, please give them your p-code which you will find on your campus card. This code helps them to find you in their computer system.
2009-06-16 Master students 2008/2009: Please don't forget to apply for your Master's degree when you have completed all the courses in the programme. The application form (Application, degree certificate) is available on Juridicum's website: http://www.juridicum.su.se/jurweb/utbildning/blanketter.asp?lang=eng and you will have to hand it in, post it or send it via fax to the Student Office at the Department of Law. You will find the address and other necessary information on the application form.

2009-06-16 Please notice that Stockholm University does NOT have any insurance policy for Master students. Instead, you are responsible for taking care of your medical insurance yourself. All the students must be covered by a valid medical insurance while in Sweden.

2009-06-16 Registration:

Firstly, you will have to register to the Master Programme at the Law Department by visiting Stanley Greenstein in room C838 (Södra Huset, House C, 8th  floor). Please take a passpost or an identification card with you. Stanley will provide you with a personal code which is needed for the enrollment process (see below). You are welcome to go by Stanley's office to register at any point on Monday 24th of August 2009 between 10-12 and 13-16.

All students are also required to pay a term fee for each term. The acceptance letter that you received is needed when you enroll to the University by paying the term fee (about 450 SEK) for the fall term 2009 to the Student Union at Allhuset, Frescati, Stockholm University. In addition to the acceptance letter, you will need a passport or an identification-card and about 450 SEK for the enrollment. When you pay the term fee, you will receive a campus card.

One day after you have been registered to the Master programme at the Law Department and after you have paid the term fee to the Student Union, you will be allowed to sign up for your computer codes and your student e-mail account (= student account) at the student desk outside the student centre in House B, 2nd floor.  These computer codes are valid in the computer classes in the houses A and C. Information about access to the computer rooms in House C will be provided when the lecture "Introduction to LexLab" takes place in August.
