Legal Risk Analysis as Preparatory Steps in the Drafting of new IT-related Legislation

Proactive approaches may play an important role in the development of new legislation. This is true on a general level and especially relevant in the IT-sector, where the pace of change is comparatively swift. Risk analysis provides a number of methods that may be employed in several phases of the drafting process in order to enhance the quality of the legislation. A similar strategy may be utilized in the drafting of IT-contracts and this presentation gives some illustrations on how this can be done.
