The ”consumer-ization” of IT is empowering and enabling users to drive and demand intuitive and noncomplex interfaces to information. Search is more and more becoming the de facto way of interacting with information, regardless of data type and location (WEB/Intranet/Extranet). Gartner Group predicts that by 2012, more than 75 percent of applications will use a “search/explore” blank as a primary user interface for end users. This presentation will look into some of the main pillars of a good search and how this is applicable to the legal community.
