He has since 1991 worked as a consultant, and has a varied IT experience from purchasing IT-systems, running, maintaining and implementing various systems at different levels, including Contract Management systems.
The talk will focus on pitfalls in implementing and running a CM-system.
Main objectives for implementing a CM-system is often clear enough, but the management decision is often based on what the possibilities within the system may achieve, but not on how it should be implemented and maintained to utilise these possibilities.
The implementation phase is often lacking in good plans as how to implement in existing organisation. The challenges are quality of existing data and contract portfolio, forms and templates, user knowledge and existing structure of responsibility and authorization levels.
Insufficient implementation may result in an expensive document archive with poor data quality.
